I Need A Job

Does anyone need some rodent control? Territory guarded? How about a dish licker or laundry sorter? Do you need a furry paperweight? How about a fill in for a round of THoE with your annoying sibling or a hissing partner? I need to make some green papers to help my family.
As some of you may know my meowmy was laid off from her job last October. Things have been pretty hard on us since then but we have had help from friends and family. The biggest help was that the very same day that she was laid off her boyfriend was offered a great job. It was his first job with steady pay and benefits. Well today, we found out that he was laid off too! He is signing his separation papers as we type. We are very sad about the whole thing, especially Meowmy.
So the only thing to do as the man cat of the house is to help out! If you have a job that only a man cat can do I'm available. I'm willing to do anything I can to make things better for my family, so don't hesitate to ask.

oh nos! Well, the furst thing you can do, and it prolly won't be much, but it'll be somefin, is you can go to and read the part about putting ads and amazon stuff on your website.
You could also see if the blogosphere would help you hold a raffle. Maybe your meowmie can help you sew or build something?
We are sending lots of purrs that your meowmie or almost-dad gets another job soon!

What rotten news. We hope things turn around for your mom and your almost dad.

We don't have any work available, but perhaps one will come along who needs an experienced rodent killer or door guard. We hope you won't have any trouble finding a THoE job. They're fun!

We'll keep you and your humans in our thoughts and prayers.

We are so very sorry to hear the news! You look like you are fairly good with a camera, so I am going to make a suggestion. Consider taking some photographs and selling them to stock photography websites, you can do an internet search to find them. Typically you can make about $.50 to start every time a photograph of yours gets downloaded.

Now in addition to this, try signing up for a pay for post type service, again you can't make a living with this, but can often get paid $5-$10 every so often for writting postings about various products of your choice. If you are lucky you can probably bring in $50.00 - $100.00 a month depending on how many postings you do.

In addition to these things, you can write reviews for eopinions. Typically they will pay you $10 for 10 reviews up to $100.00 a month. Again not a lot, but every bit helps right!!

I have some family issues that I need to focus on at the moment, but if you give me a week or two, I can probably help you set up an auction or raffle as well.

WOW, what crappy news! This stuff sucks. Sorry for the harsh words... but it just makes us mad how so many people lose their jobs while the rich get richer. Moki had some good advice - but a steady job with benefits would be nice... our staff lives on the edge constantly too... we don't even get cat litter anymore but wood pellets from the wood burning stove place because they are so much cheaper...
We will purr for both your humans to find jobs soon!!!

That is crappy news for sure!!!!!!!!

If the MM lost his job we would be up sh*t creek for sure as the PM decided to stay home with the wee ones.

We just got rid of our satelite dish to save some $$$.

How about selling things on Ebay? The PM does that once in awhile.

This is probably just a stepping stone for the almost Dad and he'll land something great!

We are purring for you all!

Stryder you are so sweet for offering up your services. I may need help with the mice if they start heading inside. Are you quick with the claws of doom?

Oopsie... Sorry I was not well for some time to realize your problem. I'm glad I saw it now. I saw what Moki wrote and agreed on the facts in the comment.

Your blog is under utilized. There are many things you could have done to make at least some profit. Not much earning in short term but at least it would help to subsidize your expenditure. The good news is that you are in USA and your blog is more than 3 months old. All you need is a credit/debit card or a USA bank account for the opportunity to get some advertisements displayed in your blog. You will need either one of those to apply for a PayPal online bank account.

The first thing you will need to know is how to customize your blog template to 3 columns for maximum benefits. Refer to this link on how to edit the codes..

The next step would be easy. You will need to apply for paid posting or online advertising such as Google Adsense, ShoppingAds, SurveyOnline, etc. To make things easy and not to lengthen the comment here, please refer to 2 of my previous postings which might have some help on which company you should register yourself: and

I hope that would help you ease a bit of the burden.

We are so sorry that dadbean lost his job. Hope he is able to find another one soon. We see that you have received some good ideas for making a bit of cash. We don't have any openings for rodent control right now, but we'll keep you in mind.
