It Came!

The prize package that Stryder won for his entry in the Simply Siamese Fall Contest arrived a few days ago.

He was so proud to have won! He won the Lazy Crazy Fall category sponsored by Sassy Cat.

He couldn't wait to tear into it!

There were so many cool toys he didn't know what to think!

The mouse became a quick favorite. It squeaks when you whap it around.

After playing with the mouse for a while we headed back to the bedroom for some more playtime.

The bird was pretty yummy.

But the fish was too interesting to pass up.

Can you tell that all of the toys had nip in them?

After a long evening of testing out all the toys he finally passed out and had nip colored dreams.

Creepy Crawlies

So here I was last night minding my own business, my girl had been calling me and calling me to come in but I just wasn't ready to yet. She had come home from her weekend with Almost Dad and was wanting to snuggle with me but I was taking my time and making her wait. She should have figured that something was up cause I am normally waiting at her car door to escort her into the house when she gets home, I don't punish her for not being home, I'm happy she comes back.

Well she just couldn't wait (can you blame her?) so she scooped me up and took me to her room and let the loving commence. I got on her chest and got all scritched and scratched and pet and purred for a good 10 minutes and then it was off to the food bowl. When I jumped back up onto the bed I went to my corner and began my bath. About 5 licks into it I got up and turned my back on her, she just thought I was being discrete but I had a secret. And I left it for her on her blanket.

At first she didn't see it, she just thought it was a clump of fur but boy was she wrong. I had to focus all of my attention on it before she would investigate. My powers of mind control finally paid off cause she got off her duff and took a closer look. And guess what she found. A SLUG!! He he ha ha ha! Boy was she unhappy! Even after she removed the poor thing she still was looking all over for slimy things all night. I tried to spare her from it but she was just too impatient. I guess she got her Halloween trick a little early this year!

Things That Go Bump In The Morning

I know I missed Tattletale Tuesday but this just happened and I HAD to share it.

This morning while my girl was in bed she rolled over to get more comfortable before going back to sleep. Well apparently this seemed like a good idea to stupid Stryder so he rolled over too. Only thing was that he was all snuggled up inside his favorite blanket and he didn't realize that he was on the edge of the bed.

First there was a loud thunk of claws trying to sink into mattress to hold him on. And then there was an even louder THUMP as he fell off anyway and bumped into the laundry hamper! He ran like a scardy cat straight to the door like someone was out to get him! Ha ha ha!

That's what you get for hogging my girl all to yourself at night. ::sticks out tongue::

She's crazy, that never happened. I don't know what she's talking about. Meowmy...did you tell Scotchy about my secret?

Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for Meowmy's bed. Cause yesterday when she had a migraine headache we were able to cuddle up in it for hours and hours and hours!
